Cookies and consent

Essential account cookies

When a creator signs in, Supabase Auth uses session cookies so the account stays signed in and protected pages can identify the creator. These cookies are necessary for the requested creator features. The local development preview may use a separate HttpOnly session cookie; it is not the production authentication system.

Browser storage

• Theme preference: gamebox-theme stores the selected light/dark theme until you change it or clear site data.
• Local preview state: gamebox-published-games and gamebox-game-reports are development-only browser fallbacks. They are not production data, are not synced to kawka.app, and are disabled by the production build.
• Game data: a game may store its own preferences or high score in its game context. The portal does not use that data to create a player account or profile.
• Game and third-party storage: a game or a service it uses may request its own browser storage or network resources. That activity is separate from the kawka.app account and is governed by the relevant game or provider notice; kawka.app does not read it or use it to build a player profile.
• Report-status reference: the private report link is carried in the URL you choose to save; kawka.app does not put it in a cookie or portal localStorage. Treat it like a private reference and do not share it publicly. It expires after 90 days.

This storage is not a player account, is not used to build a player profile, and can be removed through the browser's site-data controls.

Advertising cookies

Google advertising is not active in this release, so the site does not intentionally set advertising cookies or load the advertising tag.

Current advertising status

The site publishes its AdSense verification metadata and ads.txt file, but this release does not load the Google advertising tag or render ad placements. Before enabling advertising or any other non-essential tracking, the operator must review the applicable rules, publish a compliant consent management message, document the resulting providers and retention, and link it to the choices described here. The current absence of advertising does not pre-approve future technologies.

Managing your choices

There is no advertising consent choice to manage in this release because advertising is not active. You can delete local browser storage or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies can prevent creator sign-in and protected creator actions from working.
